Scan and Toss
Are you planning on going paperless? Do you want to digitize your paper records?
The county's Destruction After Digitization (DAD) process allows you to digitize your paper records in compliance with state requirements and toss the originals.
Box Storage
The King County Records Center provides storage service for boxes of inactive records.
They also offer direct destruction services.
Content Manager
Many of King County's electronic records are managed in Content Manager, a state-of-the-art electronic records management system.
Content Manager went live on October 7, 2019 and is the successor to KC ERMS.
